چکیده
Abstract Dharmakīrti argues that there is no pramāṇa (valid means of cognition or source knowledge) for a thesis self-contradiction ( svavacanavirodha ). That is, self-contradictions such as ‘everything said false’ and ‘my mother barren’ cannot be known to true false. The contemporary scholar Tillemans challenges by arguing we can know are false formal logical inference. aims the paper answer Tillemans’ challenge from what take Dharmakīrti’s Dharmakīrtian (someone who like Dharmakīrti) perspective demonstrate unique features view By so doing, show epistemology in relation conception logic underlies problematic perspective. paper, thus, presents inference reasoning well dominant conception.

Procrustean statistical inference of deformations
A two step method has been devised for the statistical inference of deformation changes. In the first step of this method and based on Procrustes analysis of deformation tensors, the significance of the change in a time or space series of deformation tensors is statistically analyzed. In the second step significant change(s) in deformations are localized. In other words, they are assigned to ce...

متن کاملDistributed Inference : Combining Variational Inference
The study of inference techniques and their use for solving complicated models has taken off in recent years, but as the models we attempt to solve become more complex, there is a worry that our inference techniques will be unable to produce results. Many problems are difficult to solve using current approaches because it takes too long for our implementations to converge on useful values. Whil...
متن کاملVariational Inference for Logical Inference
Functional Distributional Semantics is a framework that aims to learn, from text, semantic representations which can be interpreted in terms of truth. Here we make two contributions to this framework. The first is to show how a type of logical inference can be performed by evaluating conditional probabilities. The second is to make these calculations tractable by means of a variational approxim...
